Building an MLM or Network Marketing Business
Building a business is the toughest thing anyone could ever to do on or offline, especially if your are starting from scratch. Building a business comes from lots of experience. There are a few things you need to know about before you start building a businesses. The first thing you need to choose is the niche you want to promote. What are you selling, why should people purchase it? Are you selling a product or service? Do customers need your product?
There is a huge psychological process you have to go through. Dealing with customers is half your battle, returns, charge backs, support, training, OMG it gets so crazy from there. Network marketing and MLM was designed to assist marketers and business owners. If a business owner knew at least 10-20 heavy hitters with a huge list you had great success. Although, you were plugged into a system like any other system with capture pages and poor marketing techniques ( located in the back office) that worked in 1998, you find yourself going in another direction in your life, which is trying to make it work. Business owners don’t want to spend thousands of dollars anymore trying to sell their products.
MLM Short for Multi Leveled Marketing
MLM was designed to assist the business owner in profiting for months and years to come. Many say that MLM is a pyramid scam but it’s really not. That is just the way the business is set up. In today’s corporate America, it is still the same structure; it is just not called MLM. MLM is a type of pay system. There are binary MLM and Straight line MLM’s. Binary and Straight line matrixes are the type of pay structure you will enter when you join and MLM business. Usually there are multiple levels deep and when you build an organization from the top down you are creating long term residual growth. For each person placed in your organization you will earn a percentage of that product or service sold. So when you bring in Jack who brings in Jill. You earn a commission on Jack and Jill Who went up the hill. : )
Network Marketing
Network Marketing is usually a higher priced item. You will usually sell a product or service and earn a larger commission where as in MLM, depending on the pay structure you might have to wait to cycle (fill a matrix) till you are eligible to receive commission. The unique thing about Network marketing is that you can market on and offline. Many people use marketing techniques like personalized capture pages, magazine ads, postcards, pay-per-click, and solo ads or traffic exchanges. In my opinion all of those techniques are really affective but no longer did work as well as them before. Network marketing is selling products through a network of different types such as; friends, family or other marketers online which is the best audience.
Building a business can be fun. When you have the opportunity to mooch off another business owner by paying a fee to become and distributor or affiliate, you are at risk to loose or make lots of money. Knowing people or building a network within your group is the best way to be successful. When people program hop from opportunity to opportunity, if you have a group that can kick start your business that will make you even more successful. The money is in the List. Remember to build a list of all types. Buyers are not bias, if they like what they see, they will buy it.
